The La Mesa Eco Park & Watershed is part of the La Mesa Dam and Watershed Reservation. The dam and the watershed are a 2,700-hectare area built in 1929. It is considered as the last remaining rainforest in the National Capital Region.
The forest contains more than 50km of nature trails and serves as the lungs of Metro Manila, providing it with clean air. The park is a favorite family destination for picnics surrounded by nature. A minimal entrance fee is charged.
