A cultural-religious celebration in Eastern Visayas popular for the body-painting traditions based on the ancient tattooed “pintados” warriors. The festival was formed by the province in celebration of Tacloban’s feast day of Senior Santo Niño. It also displays the rich cultural heritage, native music and dances of the people of Leyte and Samar.
